http://www.rhondaaiden.comWell, after sitting down from a very long weekend and doing my own gig for a friend's anniversary cel, I decided to check out Beyonce's Lemonade Virtual Album release on HBO. Can you say WOW? I was immediately transported into her feelings in the past, present, and future! I noticed a very real side of the singer as she took us on  a complete raw, musical journey. You could see the hurt, the pain, the emotion, from each segment that she broke down in her one of a kind journey into the life of real women with real issues. This took some very creative work, and I must say out of all of the creative work that she is known for, she went in on this one. The graphics, the lyrics( some very raw), the scenery, the emotions, the issues of racism, and feminism, ancestral roots, family , women in general, and infidelity were all were interwined into a wonderful musical melody of emotions concerning women and the very real issues that we face relationship wise.By no means is this a strike against men alone, because clearly , men have had the opposite side of the spectrum themselves where women are concerned as well. One of my favorite parts, was the scene where she walked with the women in the water, and they were all holding hands she let us know that she stood with us, and that she too understood the hurt pain and the emotions behind infidelity which is something that I have experienced myself. thank you for this, beautiful work!
