Out Of The Box

I am a gospel recording artist who loves to think outside of the box !! So on my page this week I shared a few creative tips on how you can take some of your used clothes and make them look interesting ! I have always been creative, and I love to craft and write as well as draw. I also like to decorate which I have been told throughout the years I do very well!! Where is My Audience ?

So...I have not blogged in while, not enough participation, but I will try again anyway. Today, I want to talk about social media. The word "social" in particular. If I post something or comment on a post, I expect a response,  if I get a response then I can keep going so that we then can begin to engage in conversation. I think that this is the whole meaning of audience engagement. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. for instance, with this, I expect some feedback. Let's see what happens as a result. Higher Heights

This past weekend I traveled to New York to be a part of a function. While I was on the road, I had an epiphany...I have never been to this place before. I became nervous, and a little anxious, thinking to myself a million and one things could happen to me out here and no one knows me really....but an immediate calm came over me as I realized God is wit me everywhere I go, and because I take Him with me everywhere I go, whatever happens is supposed to happen! In life you will have to learn that there will be new territories, new dimensions and new levels, as you climb higher to reach your goals it will become harder..steady the course. I go through a lot of situations that challenge my beliefs as a christian and can I tell you I don't always get it right ! One thing I am sure of, in my quest for higher heights, God is omnipresent, meaning He is everywhere all at one time, He is the same...yesterday..today ..and forever...

Searching for the truth can be a daunting task, whether it is inner or outward.This word must feel lonely at times I'm sure, for it is not popular in our society. Sometimes, the things we see around us are not what they appear to be at all, but rather an illusion to water colors that fade with time. I would rather know the truth about a thing right from the start, as opposed to being deceived at the beginning. With me, what you see, is what you get, I am who I am, nothing more. Today Is The Day

As I was going through my list of songs that I will be creating for my upcoming project , I began to think to myself...I really have some time and work to put in. I have been taking my time..listening to my inner spirit and getting in touch with who I am and who it is that God has called me to be. I decided that today will be the day that I make sound and concrete decisions concerning my career that will stand throughout the ages. I have to make great choices that fit my area of creativity and I have to be originally me.Today I will make an agreement with me to give it all I have until there is nothing left.

I was sitting here thinking about life and how it constantly changes from moment to moment. I have learned how to appreciate the simple things in life. The smile on my grandbaby's face when she sees me, the love in my childrens eyes when I know I am appreciated. Live each moment in the moment and it will stand the test of time.
